President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Ukraine intends to resume its military strikes targeting Russian oil refineries. The Ukrainian leader revealed the decision during an interview with The Financial Times.
Zelensky noted that Kyiv had previously suspended these refinery attacks in order to comply with a direct demand from the United States. The initial pause had been undertaken following concerns raised by American officials regarding regional escalation and global energy markets.
