New Delhi: Gallantt Ispat Limited has appointed actor Janhvi Kapoor as a brand ambassador for Gallantt TMT Bars, where she will represent the company alongside existing ambassador Ajay Devgn. This strategic marketing move aligns with the steel conglomerate's preparations for a robust growth phase beginning in fiscal year 2026-27, driven by expanded manufacturing capabilities and an amplified national presence.
Company leadership notes that the partnership with Kapoor highlights a broader cultural evolution in India, where women are increasingly driving decisions in historically male-dominated fields such as construction, architecture, engineering, and infrastructure. By welcoming Kapoor to the brand alongside Devgn, Gallantt aims to reflect the growing influence of women in shaping the nation's built environment and development narrative.
Gallantt maintains an integrated production ecosystem spanning facilities in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and Kutch, Gujarat. Its operations encompass pellets, sponge iron or DRI, billets, TMT bars, and captive power generation. The enterprise currently supports a workforce exceeding 5,000 employees while managing an annual finished-steel capacity of 1 million tonnes, alongside 129.5 megawatts of captive power and a 7-megawatt captive solar facility.
The upcoming fiscal year represents a major milestone for the steel producer. Output capacity is projected to increase from 1 million tonnes to 1.3 million tonnes by the latter half of 2026. This scaling is supported by a capital expenditure of 3,000 crore rupees dedicated to facility upgrades, the deployment of an 85-megawatt solar installation, and the operational rollout of captive iron ore mines located in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
Through the joint presence of Janhvi Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, Gallantt TMT Bars seeks to transition into a new consumer phase that blends decades of industrial foundation with a contemporary, aspirational brand identity tailored for a modernizing Indian market.
