The Bharatiya Janata Party has swept the West Bengal by-elections, securing victories in both Nandigram and the Muslim-majority constituency of Rejinagar.

In Nandigram, which is regarded as the stronghold of Suvendu Adhikari, BJP candidate Hasi Rani Rath secured a win to continue the party's momentum. Hasi Rani Rath is the mother of Chandan Rath, an aide who was killed.

Meanwhile, the saffron party also emerged victorious in Rejinagar, a minority-dominated seat that was previously held by Humayun Kabir.

These dual electoral wins provide fresh political momentum to the BJP against rival Trinamool Congress factions, reflecting shifting electoral equations and evolving political realignments across the state.
