Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad has addressed the media to criticize the opposition over voter list revisions and alleged street agitation politics. During his address, Prasad pushed back against claims regarding voter roll purges and Electronic Voting Machines, declaring that the dignity of democracy has successfully countered the chronic anarchy that the opposition attempts to foment.

Prasad presented detailed figures concerning nationwide voter list scrutiny, pointing out that routine statutory processes identified roughly 2.89 crore deceased individuals, 6.3 crore relocated residents, 1 crore duplicate registrations, and 3 crore absent electors. He challenged opposition complaints regarding the sanitization of voter rolls, questioning whether non-citizens or infiltrators ought to be permitted voting privileges.

Furthermore, the senior BJP leader accused Congress figure Rahul Gandhi of showing disrespect toward constitutional institutions. Prasad alleged that Gandhi utilized meetings with the President to propagate falsehoods, drawing comparisons to historical incidents involving the Election Commission under prior administrations.
