Savita Yadav had grown suspicious of an ongoing affair between her husband, Arun Yadav, and a woman named Jyoti Kori, which she believed had lasted for approximately a year. Her suspicions deepened after she allegedly found digital chat logs on a mobile phone indicating that the two had arranged a rendezvous at a local hotel.
Acting on this information, Savita followed her husband to the establishment and confronted them inside a room. Upon opening the door and finding them together, she lost her temper amid the heated argument that followed, striking both Arun and Jyoti multiple times.
