Rulers Gautam Gulati and Raj Grover were relegated to the basement during the latest dramatic twist on Rise and Fall Season 2, following a series of strategic calls made by Ultimate Ruler Shehzad Poonawalla under the Fall Ka Farmaan. With Niharika Tiwari already securing safety, attention turned to Shehzad as he determined who would remain in the penthouse and who would face demotion.
The decisions immediately altered the atmosphere inside the Tower, testing personal relationships, loyalties, and long-standing bonds. What started as calculated moves inside the Red Room quickly escalated into arguments, awkward confrontations, and new nomination conflicts affecting both the penthouse and the lower levels.
Inside the Red Room, Shehzad initially chose to save Tej Pratap Yadav before facing a choice between two pairs of Rulers. Although Raj Grover and Swara Bhasker made their arguments to stay upstairs, Shehzad ultimately sent Raj to the basement. Next, he had to choose between friends Gautam Gulati and Irina Rudakova, deciding to save Irina and send Gautam downstairs.
The outcome left Gautam visibly upset. While Tej questioned the reasoning behind the choice, Gautam accused Shehzad of acting out of jealousy and insecurity. Swara supported Shehzad's choice, turning what was meant to be a tactical decision into a personal test of loyalty that left Gautam questioning his relationship with Shehzad.
Gautam's arrival in the basement was met with existing grievances from the other Workers. Although Shehzad later attempted to clear the air with Gautam to preserve their friendship, the conversation derailed after Tej made a teasing remark regarding a potential romance. Shehzad lost his temper and pushed Tej, prompting an angry reaction from Tej over the lack of respect. Although Gautam tried to defuse the tension by explaining the comment was a joke, the interaction left the environment even more volatile.
The fallout continued to spread as Sara Gurpal suggested that Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary might align themselves against Shehzad, hinting at a shifting dynamic within the house.
The focus then shifted to the Workers as the Lift of Judgement opened for elimination nominations. Shehzad nominated Priyanka, who subsequently used her power to nominate Gautam. When Gautam took his turn, he initially named Raj before switching to Kaira Anu after she stated she did not need anyone's help. Kaira then nominated Raj, and Raj named Sara Gurpal, triggering another intense verbal clash between Kajal Raghwani and Raj. Ultimately, Sara and Manish Kashyap emerged safe, while the remaining Workers were left facing the risk of elimination.
Back in the penthouse, friction developed between Niharika and Swara after Swara defended Shehzad regarding an earlier remark, leading Niharika to tell her to mind her own business. Down in the basement, Gautam grew unsettled by a late-night discussion between Kajal and Sara, prompting him to briefly move his bed outside before being convinced to return inside. Additionally, Kajal and Manish observed a shift in Priyanka's attitude toward Gautam, causing him to question her true motives.
