New Delhi: Several demonstrators attempting to reach Delhi’s officially designated protest venue at Jantar Mantar were reportedly intercepted, dispersed, or taken into custody before arriving at the location.
Security forces implemented extensive measures along the approach routes, featuring heavy personnel deployment and multiple layers of physical barricading.
Stringent security checks were also enforced throughout the area to restrict movement towards the venue.
Due to these preventative actions, the demonstration site remained largely vacant, with presence at the location limited primarily to media representatives and police officers.
