Delhi Police have heavily fortified central Delhi following calls for demonstrations at Jantar Mantar. Key political figures, including Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee, were detained alongside party workers and leaders like MP Dola Sen as they attempted to march toward the protest venue.

Authorities enforced Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, restricting public gatherings across the national capital and setting up multiple checkpoints at border regions and key roundabouts, including Connaught Place. Visuals from the area showed extensive deployments of the Rapid Action Force, Central Reserve Police Force, and the specialised women's Pink Force equipped with riot gear and batons near Block A, Palika Bazar, and Baba Kharak Singh Marg.

Continuous patrols by PCR vans, diverted traffic routes, and buses stationed to transport detainees to nearby police stations were observed throughout the vicinity. Police confirmed that no official permission had been granted for any demonstrations, leading to the interception of civilian protesters, incoming members arriving by flights, and opposition leaders during the day's events.
