A man was unseated from his motorcycle after an out-of-control vehicle collided with the parked two-wheeler near a tea stall located in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi district, with surveillance footage documenting the accident.
The event occurred close to the Maninagar river bridge near Sathankulam. Several devotees, returning from a visit to the Mutharamman Temple in Kulasekarapattinam, had parked their motorbikes outside the local tea shop to take a break.
Surveillance video shows a white vehicle driving at high speed down the thoroughfare before smashing directly into the motorcycle parked in front of the establishment. The force of the crash threw the individual seated on the bike onto the ground.
In addition to unseating the rider, the kinetic energy from the impact propelled the motorcycle forward, striking another person sitting nearby. Witnesses at the scene immediately stepped in to assist the hurt man and transported him to a medical facility for urgent care.
