A man sitting on a parked motorcycle outside a tea shop in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi district was flung off his seat when a speeding luxury car rammed into the two-wheeler. CCTV footage captured the dramatic impact, in which the man was thrown off but managed to escape without a scratch.
The incident took place near the Maninagar river bridge where individuals visiting the Mutharamman Temple had parked their two-wheelers outside a local tea shop and stopped for refreshments.
Surveillance cameras showed the man seated on one of the parked motorcycles as a luxury vehicle sped down the road and collided directly with the bike. The sudden and violent impact sent the motorcycle lurching forward and threw the rider off his seat, startling nearby bystanders.
Footage from an alternate camera angle revealed that the displaced bike subsequently struck a person sitting inside the establishment. Although the force of the collision carried the potential for serious harm, that individual also emerged unhurt.
Promptly following the crash, people in the vicinity rushed forward to assist the victims and transported them to a hospital for evaluation. Despite the severe and dramatic nature of the accident, the man thrown from the motorcycle walked away entirely unharmed. Available reports did not indicate whether any other injuries occurred during the incident.
