Chaos erupted at the Uttar Pradesh Congress headquarters in Lucknow during a charge-taking ceremony, where clashes and physical altercations broke out between party workers and shoes were hurled. The dispute reportedly escalated following a confrontation involving party leader Mamta Chaudhary and former Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai.
Supporters engaged in a scuffle that lasted nearly 30 minutes, leading to a sit-in protest on the party premises. Senior party members, including Pramod Tiwari and Imran Masood, intervened in an effort to pacify the situation and restore order among the warring factions.
