Hyderabad: A 28-year-old BJP leader in Telangana has accused the former national treasurer of the party's youth wing of threatening to create and circulate artificial intelligence-generated obscene pictures of her, alongside subjecting her to sexual and caste-based abuse.

Following a complaint by the Scheduled Castes Morcha's social media convener, the Hyderabad police have registered a case against Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national treasurer PM Sai Prasad, widely known as Team Sai, and four other associates.

According to the official First Information Report registered on October 5, the complainant stated that Sai Prasad and his associates repeatedly harassed, intimidated, and threatened her after she severed her association with them in April. She detailed that she faced caste-based and sexually derogatory insults, alongside direct threats directed at her husband, children, and political career.

The complainant further alleged that Sai Prasad threatened to fabricate and distribute artificial intelligence-generated obscene images and videos of her. The FIR specifically names Paka Shiva, Rahul, John, and Aditya as co-accused individuals.

Additionally, the victim alleged that three of the accused men visited her residence late at night during the month of August to intimidate her and her family members. The complaint notes that the campaign of harassment and threats persisted even after she completely cut ties with the group.

In response to the complaint, local law enforcement authorities have registered a formal case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Information Technology Act, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. An active investigation into the matter is currently underway.
