Recent election and by-poll outcomes across regions such as West Bengal, Assam, Puducherry, Rajasthan, and Tripura have delivered major victories for the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allied groups. Following these wins, the ruling party emphasized that the consistent electoral success demonstrates the public's firm backing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance and growth agenda, while dismissing counterclaims of electoral tampering brought forward by political rivals.

At the same time, opposition parties grouped under the INDIA alliance are ramping up their demonstrations, organizing a month-long protest schedule to call for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over accusations of voting irregularities and malpractice. The planned actions feature sit-in demonstrations and marches in New Delhi near prominent landmarks including Akashwani Bhavan, Jantar Mantar, Rajghat, and Parliament, culminating in a march toward Rashtrapati Bhavan.

A high-level delegation consisting of ten opposition figures, such as Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Mamata Banerjee, Supriya Sule, Manoj Jha, and Omar Abdullah, moved forward to formally press their grievances, while additional party figures gathered for sit-in protests at Vijay Chowk. Despite these mounting protests and claims from rival parties, ruling party leaders maintain that everyday voters have successfully looked past opposition narratives and rejected their ongoing political campaigns.
