In a separate aviation incident on October 14, an Air India flight from Frankfurt to Delhi departed from Jaipur International Airport after security agencies conducted a comprehensive sanitisation sweep and cleared the aircraft following a hijack scare. Additionally, on October 11, a Chennai-bound IndiGo flight from Delhi was forced to make an emergency diversion to Hyderabad after a passenger's power bank caught fire inside the cabin.
