Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to bring their love story to Koffee With Karan 9, and the newly released promo offers a glimpse into their conversations about marriage, proposals, and life as a couple. In the promo, Rashmika reveals that she asked Vijay to marry her for an entire year, while the actor shared his side of the story with a cheeky response.
The promo begins with host Karan Johar introducing the duo as a blockbuster couple before asking Vijay whether there was a proposal when someone as stunning as Rashmika entered his life. Rashmika then recalls how she approached the subject of marriage, telling Vijay that they should get married.
According to Rashmika, Vijay responded by telling her to ask him a hundred times. Surprised by the revelation, Karan asks her if she asked him a hundred times, to which Rashmika confirms that she asked him for an entire year.
When Karan turns to Vijay for his version of events, the actor responds playfully to the couple's account of how their marriage conversations unfolded. The promo also features light-hearted banter about their on-screen chemistry with other actors. When asked to choose between her Pushpa and Animal co-stars, Rashmika picks Allu Arjun. Karan then asks Vijay who he thinks shares the best on-screen chemistry with him, prompting Rashmika to interject that nobody does.

Vijay and Rashmika got married on February 26 at ITC Mementos in Udaipur in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family, having begun dating around 2018 after meeting on the sets of Geetha Govindam.
Before Vijay and Rashmika, the first guest to grace the popular couch was Salman Khan, who spoke about stardom, paparazzi culture, and insights into his personal life during his appearance on the chat show. Meanwhile, the two actors were recently seen together in Ranabaali, which released in theatres on October 16.
