Mumbai Police has traced the ownership trail of the Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle allegedly used by the shooters in the firing incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai. The bike had changed hands four times since 2022, with the vehicle reportedly sold without a registered transfer of ownership.

According to Mumbai Police, an accused named Ritik, described as a rapido rider, purchased the motorcycle on September 11. The bike was allegedly used exclusively for the crime.

Rajjab Ali Shaikh, the third owner of the motorcycle, stated that the vehicle had been parked outside for sale before his nephew decided to pass it along through a chain of acquaintances. The family noted that the buyer paid between Rs 25,000 and Rs 26,000 for the machine.

Shaikh mentioned that they had no idea who ultimately operated the motorcycle and only discovered its connection to the shooting after reports surfaced in the media and law enforcement visited their residence. He expressed deep distress over the vehicle being used for unlawful activities and confirmed that his family had provided all relevant information to the police.

He further stated that investigators had questioned them and that they were fully prepared to assist with the ongoing probe, including testifying as witnesses if necessary. Shaikh also urged the public to ensure proper documentation is completed during any vehicle sales to prevent similar complications.

The 36-year-old actor was leaving after playing a football match in Mumbai's Juhu area on a Sunday evening when the suspects allegedly discharged multiple rounds at his BMW sedan.

Shroff managed to escape without injury, though his driver, Firdaus, and an autorickshaw driver named Chauhan sustained injuries in the attack. The actor was sitting on the side of the car when the shooting broke out and moved toward the driver's seat after the gunfire started.

Security camera footage of the event captures one of the individuals firing multiple shots, while a second suspect appears to try firing as well. It remains uncertain whether the second firearm discharged, a detail that could pertain to a suspected weapon malfunction.

A third suspect is visible waiting on a motorcycle, seemingly poised to assist the others in making a getaway. Law enforcement authorities have recovered the motorcycle believed to have been utilized in the assault after the suspects abandoned it near the Andheri railway station.

Based on details shared by Mumbai Police, the three suspects departed from Andheri railway station and took a local train toward Borivali. From that location, they booked an app-based taxi to Surat and subsequently boarded a train bound for Kota.

The inquiry has also mapped out the motorcycle's chronological ownership, revealing that it passed through several individuals prior to the attack. The absence of official ownership paperwork has become a central focus in determining how the vehicle eventually reached the suspects.

Meanwhile, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has asserted responsibility for the shooting and released new threats directed at individuals associated with Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
