Mika Singh has come forward to defend his brother, Daler Mehndi, after Uttarakhand minister Subodh Uniyal publicly accused the veteran singer of performing under the influence of alcohol at the Maa Kunjapuri Mela.
Addressing the controversy, Mika issued a strong challenge to anyone who claimed to have witnessed Daler drinking at the event. He stated publicly that he would give up his own singing career if the allegations could be substantiated with proof.
In addition to refuting the claims, Mika pointed out that Daler Mehndi had recently undergone a major surgical procedure. He suggested that this recent health intervention may have physically impacted his brother's performance during the event, rather than any alleged substance use.
