An accused individual linked to the shooting incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff allegedly shaved his head to conceal his identity roughly two months after the attack was planned. Investigators found that the suspect, identified as Ritik alias Roshan, previously wore his hair long before shaving it completely to avoid being recognized locally, though it had grown back slightly by the time the attack occurred.
Meanwhile, a team from the Mumbai Police departed from Kota by road accompanied by three individuals allegedly involved in the shooting. The law enforcement team had paused overnight in Kota to manage travel fatigue and ensure safety rather than driving through the night following their journey from Mumbai.
The three suspects had been taken into custody by local authorities at the Kota railway station after being intercepted in the general coach of the Pune-Jaipur Superfast Express. They were identified as Hrithik alias Roshan from Begusarai in Bihar, Rehan from Sonipat in Haryana, and a juvenile. Following their handover, the Mumbai Police formally arrested the suspects and presented them before a magistrate, who granted transit remand for their transfer to Mumbai.
According to investigators, the suspects initially fled to Surat following the incident and caught a train heading toward Jaipur, with a subsequent plan to travel to Delhi by bus and eventually escape to Nepal. Authorities have also uncovered that Rehan was in communication with Anil Pandit, an alleged associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which had claimed responsibility for the assault via an unverified social media post.
The shooting incident unfolded during the evening in the Juhu area of Mumbai, where a minimum of two individuals allegedly discharged firearms at Shroff's vehicle before escaping on a motorcycle. Police reported that five to six rounds struck the car, leaving the actor largely unharmed while his driver and a bystander suffered injuries. The motorcycle reportedly utilized by the shooters was subsequently recovered abandoned in the Andheri neighborhood.
Law enforcement officials have filed a formal case encompassing charges related to attempted murder and the Arms Act. Ongoing investigations continue to trace the movements of the suspects, potential criminal connections, and the wider context of the attack. During the brief detention period in Kota, security remained tightly managed under the supervision of local station authorities with continuous monitoring through headquarters-linked surveillance systems.
