New Delhi: Addressing a spiritual gathering at the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav Sammelan in Delhi, speakers highlighted a nationwide cultural renaissance currently underway across the country. The discussion pointed to major transformations at prominent spiritual sites, including the Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, Mahakal Mahalok in Ujjain, and the shrines at Kedarnath and Badrinath, alongside the installation of Adi Shankaracharya's statue.

A central focus of the event was the successful repatriation of historical treasures. Over the past 12 years, more than 650 stolen ancient idols and artefacts have been brought back to India from abroad through diplomatic efforts, while a number of cultural landmarks have earned recognition as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Drawing on the legacy of figures like Swami Chinmayananda and the creation of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial initiated by Eknath Ranade, the address stressed the importance of education in the mother tongue combined with modern science and technology. Attendees and spiritual leaders welcomed the ongoing focus on preserving ancient cultural heritage without defensiveness.

The gathering also emphasized national self-reliance, extending beyond defence into the cultural sphere, and urged unity against divisive forces. Organizers connected the milestone of the Chinmaya Mission centenary with India completing 100 years of independence in 2047, under the overarching national goal of building a Viksit Bharat.
