Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay's TVK party has declared receiving Rs 13.3 crore in voluntary contributions from four donors during the financial year 2025–26, with ministers Aadhav Arjuna and RV Ranjithkumar accounting for 99 per cent of the funds, according to figures submitted to the Election Commission of India.

The figures revealed that Sports and Public Works Minister Arjuna contributed Rs 8.2 crore, while Ranjith donated Rs 5 crore. Arjuna’s contribution makes him the party’s biggest donor, accounting for more than 60 per cent of the total contributions TVK reported for the financial year.

The figures also show two additional donations of Rs 5 lakh each. Snow Sho, located in Lions Town, Thoothukudi, made its contribution through a demand draft. Another Rs 5 lakh was donated by Snow Exports & Imports, which is registered at the same address, also via demand draft.

Meanwhile, the election panel figures also show that the AIADMK reported voluntary contributions of around Rs 161.35 crore during FY 2025–26. Tiger Associates was its largest contributor, donating Rs 135 crore.

The DMK reported contributions of around Rs 191.19 crore, with Tiger Associates emerging as its biggest donor with Rs 125 crore.

Kolkata-based lottery firm Tiger Associates is linked to lottery magnate Santiago Martin through a common business associate. Its designated partner, Subbayan Nagarajan, is a long-time associate of Martin, and corporate records show that the two are partners in another firm.

Martin’s company, Future Gaming and Hotel Services, was the largest purchaser of electoral bonds before the Supreme Court struck down the scheme in February 2024. Disclosures made public after the scheme was scrapped showed that Future Gaming had contributed Rs 509 crore to the DMK through electoral bonds.
