Two Terrorists Killed In J&K Kupwara Encounter As Infiltration Bid Foiled
Security forces foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, killing two heavily armed terrorists during an encounter in the Keran sector along the Line of Control. The contact was established in the general area of Jumgund near Kelandi after vigilant troops challenged infiltrators attempting to cross under the cover of darkness. Following a brief gunfight lasting 10 to 15 minutes, two infiltrators were killed close to the border. The entire area remains under cordon as the army conducts intense search and combing operations to ensure no other infiltrators crossed over.
