New Delhi: The Delhi Police has denied permission for the Cockroach Janta Party's proposed Tiranga March at Central Park in Connaught Place, serving an official notice to Abhijeet Dipke under Section 29 of the Delhi Police Act.

The notice, which was served at the residence of Anish Gawande, directs Dipke to maintain public order and properly regulate processions and public assemblies.

Authorities highlighted that Section 163 restrictions remain in force across the area and cautioned that any attempt to march toward Connaught Place could trigger strict punitive legal action along with potential detention.

The official directive also cited anticipated traffic disruptions, the absence of prior authorization, and existing High Court directives concerning the safety and security of local traders.

Although law enforcement officials indicated that a small delegation of eleven individuals would be permitted to unfurl the national flag, the organization rejected this condition and instead urged widespread public participation in the event.

Dipke acknowledged receipt of the document, questioning the rationale behind prohibiting the unfurling of the national flag while reiterating that the group had no intentions of staging an unlawful agitation.
