Ranveer Singh has purchased a BMW i7 luxury electric sedan shortly after he and his wife, Deepika Padukone, welcomed their second daughter. The Bollywood star was recently spotted taking delivery of the vehicle from a showroom and driving it himself on the streets of Mumbai.
Footage shared on social media captured the actor leaving the dealership dressed in all black before heading home with his new automobile. The luxury electric vehicle carries a price tag exceeding Rs 2 crore, depending on the chosen variant and specifications. This acquisition arrives after BMW India named Ranveer as a brand ambassador, though reports indicate this particular vehicle was a personal purchase.
The high-end sedan becomes the second electric vehicle in Ranveer's collection, joining his GMC Hummer EV. Known for his passion for high-end automobiles, the actor's existing garage features models such as a Lamborghini Urus, a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, a Range Rover, and an Aston Martin Rapide S. The 7 Series remains a preferred choice among numerous film industry personalities, with other owners including Ajay Devgn, Sonam Kapoor, Jeetendra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Sonu Sood.
On the family front, Ranveer and Deepika celebrated the birth of their second child, a baby girl, on September 19, 2026. The couple announced the arrival through a joint Instagram statement accompanied by an evil eye symbol, prompting congratulatory messages from colleagues like Sonam Kapoor, Sara Arjun, Anil Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon. They are also parents to their older daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, born in September 2024.
Prior to the birth, the couple visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai alongside Ranveer's parents, following an individual visit by Ranveer to offer prayers at Lalbaugcha Raja. The couple first connected on the production of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013 and subsequently married in November 2018 during traditional ceremonies in Lake Como, Italy.
Professionally, Ranveer is gearing up for his upcoming cinematic venture titled Pralay, an apocalyptic action and survival thriller set against the backdrop of Mumbai. Helmed by director Jai Mehta and co-starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, the production officially commenced filming in Mumbai in August 2026.
