The Pretty Little Liars actor Keegan Allen was battered and robbed by attackers wielding a knife and a gun in West Hollywood, sharing a social media video of himself visibly shaken and bloodied. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed it is investigating a violent robbery that matches the weapons, location, and timeline described by the actor.

In an Instagram video, the 37-year-old actor recounted being robbed of his watch outside a specialty grocery store on Santa Monica Boulevard. Breathless with blood visible on his face and neck, Allen stated that two masked men struck him in the head and pointed firearms and a knife at him before fleeing. Surveillance footage shared in his post showed two suspects holding him up near a pickup truck, striking him with a pistol as he removed his watch, and subsequently running away.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported that the robbers demanded a watch and bracelet at knifepoint and gunpoint before pistol-whipping the victim, causing a forehead laceration, and escaping in a vehicle with the stolen timepiece. First responders evaluated Allen at the scene without transporting him to a hospital, though the actor later indicated on social media that he was dealing with a concussion.

The sheriff's major crimes bureau is actively investigating the case and has urged anyone with information to contact the West Hollywood station. In his social media posts, Allen advocated for the use of automated license plate readers to track down the suspects, while various public figures and supporters expressed shock and concern over the violent encounter.

Allen is widely known for portraying Toby Cavanaugh throughout the seven-season run of Pretty Little Liars from 2010 to 2017. His subsequent television credits include roles in Walker and an appearance on The Rookie.
