As demonstrations calling for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar persisted in Delhi, footage of police handling detained protesters attracted widespread attention for its unexpectedly light tone. At Bawana Stadium, where demonstrators were taken following their custody, law enforcement arranged refreshments consisting of tea, samosas, and bottled water, alongside assisting individuals with transportation back home.

According to information provided by the police, ACP Gaurav, a 2024-batch IPS officer managing operations at Bawana Stadium, directed the distribution of refreshments to the detainees. Female demonstrators and accompanying individuals were provided with drop-off services to the Rithala Metro station, whereas Delhi Transport Corporation buses were deployed to assist male protesters in returning home.

The hospitality inspired humorous slogans among the crowd, with some individuals chanting phrases expressing trust in the Delhi Police over tea and samosas. Demonstrators also raised chants commending the protection of democracy.

In a separate incident captured on video during the Cockroach Janta Party demonstrations near Connaught Place, popular YouTuber Nikhil Verma, known as Chhota Chetan, was detained by a Rapid Action Force official. The footage showed the officer lifting and carrying the content creator away following a chase through the area's streets.

The calm and casual manner of the detention sparked amusement online, with social media users highlighting the friendly banter exchanged between the officer and the YouTuber. During the interaction, the official remarked on the creator's online presence before placing him down, providing a stark contrast to the typically tense atmosphere of political demonstrations.
