BJP Mahila Morcha Protests, INDIA Bloc Marches in Delhi, Congress Faces Heat

Political tensions escalated in Delhi as Bharatiya Janata Party women workers and Members of Parliament held a demonstration outside the Congress headquarters at Indira Bhavan. The protesters sought the resignation and expulsion of Congress Manipur Member of Parliament Dr Bimal following sexual harassment allegations concerning Jawaharlal Nehru University students. Holding placards, BJP leaders demanded accountability from Rahul Gandhi, urging the Congress leadership to address women's safety within their ranks. BJP Member of Parliament Medha Kulkarni criticised the opposition party, asserting that while leaders advocate for women's empowerment, they fail to take stern measures when internal misconduct surfaces. Concurrently, INDIA bloc parliamentarians planned a march toward the Supreme Court demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, leading to competing political confrontations across the national capital.
