Actor Yash made a commanding entrance at the Los Angeles premiere of director Nitesh Tiwari’s cinematic saga, Ramayana: Rise of a Legend (internationally titled Ramayana: Part 1), wearing a bespoke lapel brooch featuring the ten-headed motif of Ravana. Arriving at the David Geffen Theatre inside the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the actor—who steps into the role of the king of Lanka in the visual spectacle — anchored his red-carpet look in a razor-sharp, custom all-black outfit that seamlessly blended modern tailoring with traditional roots. The custom gold ornament served as a direct sartorial nod to his on-screen antagonist persona as Ravana.
Pinned against his dark jacket, the piece caught immediate attention with its intricate detailing of the ten heads and delicate hanging gold chains. Yash complemented the thematic accessory with dark tinted sunglasses and subtle gold hoop earrings.
Completed by his signature groomed beard, the look effortlessly bridged ancient mythological iconography with contemporary global red-carpet panache. They signify his scholarly mastery over the four Vedas and six Vedangas, while traditionally symbolising the complex web of pride and passion that sealed his fate. By pinning the gold motif to his lapel, Yash subtly frames the ruler of Lanka far beyond a single-dimensional villain.
Instead, he presents him as a towering scholar-warrior whose overwhelming intellect and fatal tragic flaw lie at the very heart of the epic.
