New Delhi: Citizens for Justice and Peace representative Abhijeet Dipke has accused Prime Minister Narendra Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of waging a direct war against their fellow countrymen. Dipke made the remarks during a press conference while addressing recent anti-protest curbs and government actions.
The sharp criticism from the CJP leadership came a day after organization members Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were remanded to Tihar Jail. Dipke strongly condemned the detention of the activists, linking the government's crackdown to efforts aimed at shielding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
