The production team officially revealed the revised release date on October 15 while keeping the official title of the movie under wraps. To mark the announcement, the makers shared a photograph of the lead actors from the set on social media, utilizing the same image that was previously released to introduce the collaboration.

Previously, director Anurag Basu maintained that production was moving forward smoothly and that the team remained committed to delivering the feature as intended.
Addressing earlier speculation, Basu clarified in an interview with Variety India that reports claiming the majority of the movie had already been filmed were inaccurate, noting that principal photography had only spanned around 45 days at that stage.
The high-profile feature was initially unveiled in February 2025 through a teaser video featuring the two lead stars. Following its initial December 2025 window and subsequent postponement, audiences can now expect the romantic drama in theatres on April 30, 2027.
