Air Chief Marshal Ashutosh Dixit paid tribute to the country's fallen soldiers at the National War Memorial by laying a wreath soon after taking charge as the Chief of the Air Staff.

Following the ceremony, he touched the feet of his mother, Nirmala Dixit, and mother-in-law, Kamla Pandey, seeking their blessings.

The gesture came as he formally assumed charge of the Indian Air Force's top post, marking the beginning of his tenure as the Chief of the Air Staff.
