New IAF chief Ashutosh Dixit salutes mother and mother-in-law after taking charge
Air Chief Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, who assumed charge as the 29th Chief of the Air Staff on October 31, offered a moving display of humility after laying a wreath at the National War Memorial in New Delhi, saluting and touching the feet of his mother, Nirmala Dixit, and mother-in-law, Kamla Pandey. The moment came as he succeeded Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, who retired after a distinguished career.
