Delhi Fortified Ahead Of Jantar Mantar Stir; Internet Cut, Metros Shut
The national capital has been fortified with massive security arrangements ahead of planned protests at Jantar Mantar. Heavy barricading, riot control vehicles, and personnel from the Delhi Police, Central Reserve Police Force, and Rapid Action Force have been deployed across key locations, including Ashoka Road and outside Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. The internet has been suspended within a four-kilometre radius in central Delhi, metro stations have been shut, traffic diverted, and trains halted. Police have reiterated that no permission has been granted for demonstrations and have appealed to youth not to participate in the agitation. Jantar Mantar has been declared a no-entry zone to prevent assembly.
