Opposition Slams Centre Over Delhi Security Measures Amid Protests Across Capital
Opposition leaders have criticised the Centre's security measures implemented in Delhi during recent protests. Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin questioned the security curbs, referencing internet restrictions, metro station closures, train cancellations, and the detention of youth leaders and activists. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stated that the Kashmir model of internet shutdowns and heavy barricading has been exported to the national capital. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam voiced support for protesting students and youth, who are raising concerns over electoral irregularities and demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.
