If passengers aren’t safe even in First AC, who is responsible for their security?— Gems Of Railway (@GemsOfRailway) November 2, 2026The Lucknow Division of Northern Railway responded to the post, tagging the RPF and the Uttar Pradesh Government Railway Police (GRP) and asking them to look into the matter. The incident received criticism from social media users, with several questioning the security arrangements on long-distance trains. Some called for the suspension of RPF personnel deployed with the train's patrolling team and demanded a thorough enquiry into the staff assigned to the First and Second AC coaches, including pantry employees.Others criticised what they described as the authorities' failure to respond promptly to passengers in distress, arguing that a lack of timely action was one of the reasons such incidents continued to occur.- Ends
