Petition Seeks Quashing Of All Illegal Acts At EC: Abhishek Manu Singhvi

Senior advocate and Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi addressed the INDIA bloc's petition filed before the Supreme Court regarding the Chief Election Commissioner and the SIR exercise. Singhvi stated, 'It is a petition which seeks the quashing of all the illegal acts, all the bad decisions. It seeks fairness, a level playing field.' Clarifying that the plea is not related to impeachment, he explained that it focuses on irregularities and illegalities within the Election Commission. The petition also seeks contempt action against police restrictions on protests.
