Opposition Protest Towards Supreme Court: Paramilitary Deployed, Barricades Breached

A massive protest march by Congress and INDIA alliance leaders progressed from Mandi House along Bhagwan Das Road towards the Supreme Court, marking day 10 of demonstrations on the Ganesh Kumar issue. Protesters breached the initial barricade as columns of the Rapid Action Force and paramilitary personnel were deployed to secure the remaining perimeters. Alongside an eleven-member delegation, large crowds accompanied buses and trucks toward the court, with security arrangements stepped up including the potential use of water cannons. The mobilization brought together various wings of the Congress party, including the Seva Dal and state cadres, alongside alliance leaders in a coordinated show of strength.
