Bharatiya Janata Party national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday characterized the Rahul Gandhi-led INDIA bloc and the Cockroach Janta Party, which he termed associates of Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal, as anarchist factions attempting to destabilize the nation. He accused these groups of seeking to manufacture unrest after facing rejection from voters at the polls.

Nabin's remarks coincided with plans by the CJP and various other organizations to stage demonstrations at New Delhi's Jantar Mantar to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.

Delhi police denied the CJP permission to protest on Friday, triggering an extensive security mobilization that extended well beyond the capital. Authorities implemented strict, unprecedented curbs in Delhi, including closing the gates of 45 metro stations, suspending mobile internet services across central Delhi, canceling incoming trains, and deploying paramilitary reinforcements via special trains.

Characterizing the opposition alliances as anarchist, Nabin alleged they hatched plans to destabilize the country after being punished by democracy through electoral defeats. He further claimed that these protests were not solely motivated by domestic politics, suggesting that foreign powers were also attempting to undermine India's ongoing economic growth and development.

Nabin accused the opposition of challenging democratic and constitutional frameworks while hypocritically invoking the Constitution itself. He warned that the government would take strict action against any forces attempting to foster tension, while adding that BJP workers would remain among the public to counter these schemes and support the vision of a developed nation.
