Blue Drum Murder: Death Sentence For Muskaan Rastogi & Sahil, Convicts Given Jail Numbers
A court has awarded the death sentence to Muskaan Rastogi and Sahil for the murder of former merchant navy professional Saurabh in the Blue Drum murder case. Following the pronouncement delivered via video conferencing, both convicts broke down and were placed under tightened security in separate barracks. Assigned prisoner numbers 395 and 396, Muskaan and Sahil have been issued prison uniforms and allocated routine daily work assignments. The victim was drugged, stabbed, and dismembered before his body was sealed in a cement-filled drum. The court noted the extensive planning behind the crime, rejecting defence pleas regarding the lack of eyewitnesses. Muskaan, who gave birth to a child while in custody, remains concerned about the future of her daughters, as prison regulations allow a minor child to reside with an incarcerated mother only until the age of six.
