The contrast couldn’t have been greater, yet the scooter continues to impress with its peppy performance and everyday usability. One of its standout features remains the TFT.

The adjustable display allows you to set the perfect viewing angle, significantly improving readability in different lighting conditions. Add to that the wealth of information and connected features on offer, and it becomes one of the best instrument panels in the segment.

My only gripe is the navigation system. While turn-by-turn navigation works through the smartphone app, it isn’t always seamless.

Direct Google Maps integration on the display would have made the experience far more intuitive. Some enthusiasts have also commented on the rather subdued exhaust note. However, that’s less a TVS decision and more a consequence of increasingly stringent pass-by noise regulations.

Manufacturers now have to comply with stricter sound limits. Moreover, the tyres provide reassuring grip on wet roads, and even spirited cornering in damp conditions feels predictable. They communicate well and offer enough traction to let you enjoy the scooter without constantly worrying about the surface underneath.

It all adds up to a package that remains engaging, practical and easy to live with every day.
