St Mary’s Church at Fort St. George is presenting a choral evening service on October 25 from 6.30 p.m. onwards.
This is the 346th anniversary of the church, and a host of dignitaries and choir groups will be taking part.The Canticles founded and lead by Ebenezer ArunKumar; The Cadence, a gospel children’s choir led by Christina Beryl Edward; Isaiah 61 choir trained and conducted by composer Paul Vijay; United Theological College Students, which represents an amalgamation of people from different dioceses, churches, denominations, languages, cultures and states; Evergreen sisters, a group of cousins trained in quartet singing and recorder playing; and The Salvation Army Band, a unique Gospel brass band, will be performing.
