Hyderabad: A teenager from Hyderabad came up with an inventive way of delivering a birthday card to his mother by building a miniature ropeway system that carried the greeting right to her.
Bhuvanesh, a Class 10 student who identifies as a robotic instructor, shared a video of the project on Instagram detailing how he put the setup together as a birthday surprise.
The young innovator began by explaining the components he utilized, which included an Arduino Uno, an infrared sensor, and a radio frequency wireless module. The concept relied on a simple trigger: when someone approached and was detected by the sensor, the radio frequency module transmitted a signal to a receiver located on the opposite end.
That receiver processed the incoming data to activate a small robot attached to the ropeway mechanism. Bhuvanesh demonstrated the arrangement to viewers by pointing out the receiver module, the rope, and the miniature robot carrying the birthday card.
During the demonstration, he placed his hand in front of the infrared sensor, which detected the motion and triggered the wireless signal. The ropeway system immediately sprang into action, propelling the little robot along the line until it reached its destination with the card.
Bhuvanesh accompanied his online post with a simple caption explaining that he built the ropeway setup to deliver a birthday greeting to his mother.
The creative project quickly drew admiration and positive feedback from online viewers. One commenter called the build incredibly cool and stated that the world needs more young minds like his, while another encouraged him to keep pursuing his passion for technology to spark future inventions. Others offered words of support, wishing him continued success in achieving his ambitions.
