Maharashtra Political War Escalates Over Regime Change Jibe and Mumbai Shooting Controversy
A political war of words has escalated in Maharashtra between the state leadership and Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray. Following Thackeray's call for a regime change and criticism over visits following a recent shooting incident involving an actor in Mumbai, the ruling establishment hit back. Leaders pointed out that Thackeray failed to notice the regime change within his own party during the Shiv Sena split. They asserted that citizens decide governance through constitutional democratic means rather than demands made from high pedestals.
