Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh recently took time out of his schedule to visit the Taj Mahal in Agra ahead of his upcoming concert in the national capital. The artist documented his trip with a video shared on social media, giving followers a look at his experience at the historic site as part of his Aura India Tour 2026.
In the footage, the singer walks through the monument surrounded by security personnel and addresses his audience, stating that any visit to India should begin with the iconic landmark and emphasizing a message of love. The sightseeing trip arrives just days before his scheduled performance at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30.
The Delhi performance follows a brief period of uncertainty regarding event permissions. Local law enforcement initially declined authorization for the October 30 show before reversing the decision a day later following consultations with event organizers. The green light was issued after organizers agreed to fulfill specific safety and security terms, which involved deploying private security staff and implementing comprehensive crowd control measures.
Authorities had previously expressed caution due to potential security inputs and festive season law-and-order priorities. Ticketing partner BookMyShow Live confirmed that discussions took place with law enforcement and that a complete operational blueprint was provided for the venue.
The upcoming Delhi concert marks the starting point for the domestic leg of the Aura Tour, which follows the singer's previous shows across North America and Europe. Following the capital performance, the artist is slated to perform in Indore on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 21, Mumbai on November 27, Bengaluru on November 29, and Lucknow on December 5, alongside upcoming stops in Chandigarh and Kolkata.
