A video going viral right now purports to show a newlywed woman taking charge of a train as a loco pilot right after her wedding. The woman wore red bangles and a sky-blue saree while driving a train. This is what women’s empowerment looks like carrying traditions with pride while driving the nation forward. https://t.co/xAna5wqMOm— Zeennat Rana (@izeennatrana) October 26, 2026Those sharing the video admired her professional commitment with captions like: “This is what women’s empowerment looks like: carrying traditions with pride while driving the nation forward.”Times Now Navbharat, Jansatta, The Times of India, Prabhat Khabar, The Daily Jagran, News9, Lokmat Times Nagpur, and Anandabazar Patrika published reports about the video with similar claims.
India Today Fact Check found that the video is not real. It has been created using AI.OUR PROBEThis video has a few telltale signs of synthetic videos.
For example, the flower garland inside the loco pilot’s cabin fluttered in the strong winds, but the woman’s saree and hair remained motionless. The AI-detection tool, HiveModeration, concluded with an 80 per cent certainty that the video was AI-generated.
A reverse search of the video’s frames led us to the same clip posted on the YouTube channel “Kumkum Kumari” on October 6. The video featured an AI label and stated clearly that it was made using AI tools. The channel features several other AI-generated videos of women driving trains in bridal wear, sarees, salwar suits, or everyday clothes.
Some of them contained the watermark “Shahid office 09”.A keyword search led us to the verified YouTube channel of the same name, which has uploaded a variety of videos of people driving trains. We compared the viral clip with a video uploaded to this channel on August 30 and found several similarities.
This suggested that the viral video was created using this clip.It is, therefore, clear that the viral video is synthetic.- Ends
