Bengaluru Police Deny CJP Stir At Town Hall, Direct Protest To Freedom Park

Bengaluru Police have rejected a request by the Cockroach Janata Party to hold a demonstration in front of Town Hall, stating that protests are strictly confined to Freedom Park under directives from the High Court of Karnataka. Officials highlighted that demonstrations outside the designated venue risk severe traffic congestion across the central business district and would amount to contempt of court. While the outfit sought to expand its demonstration to Town Hall to gather larger crowds, police maintained that political parties across the board must restrict all agitations solely to Freedom Park.
