She added that this project has the potential to promote large-scale manufacturing activities, attract industrial investment, and generate new employment opportunities.“The project is scheduled to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary tomorrow (October 24, 2026) in Dobhi area near Bodh Gaya along with the launch of the web portal. Following this, the process of land allotment will begin,” Ms.

This means that the city will have various amenities, recreational and sports facilities.
At the same time, it will include all necessary pollution-control systems to ensure that the industrial park remains environmentally clean. This will include a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP).
An Integrated Control and Command Centre will also be established there,” Mr. Kumar said.He added that the state government is eyeing to attract investment from other countries like ASEAN and other Southeast Asian countries as a large number of people and tourists visit both Gaya ji and Bodh Gaya which are important centres for Buddhism.
Availability and expansion of industrial landStating that the state government has been working hard to make land available to entrepreneurs, the Minister said that the work is currently underway to make more than 14,600 acres of new industrial land available for industrial activities in Bihar. Keeping future industrial requirements in mind, the land acquisition process is being advanced for the development of new industrial areas at 28 locations across 25 districts of the State, she said, adding that this will help strengthen land availability for large- and medium-scale industrial projects in Bihar.Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allotted 727.02 acres of land to 521 units from the beginning of the financial year 2025-26 to till date, Ms.
