Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Meets Andhra CM Naidu in Vijayawada, Discusses Godavari-Cauvery River Linking

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay visited Vijayawada, meeting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to discuss inter-state water sharing and the proposed Godavari-Cauvery River linking project. Vijay began his trip by offering prayers at the Kanaka Durga Temple before holding talks with Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh. The leaders examined regional water security concerns, with the Godavari-Cauvery initiative highlighted as a crucial long-term measure for augmenting water resources across southern states. Vijay also attended the Vijayawada Utsav at Punami Ghat, addressing the gathering in Telugu.
