A workshop on endoscopic spine surgery aimed to promote knowledge-sharing, improve technical familiarity with endoscopic procedures and provide access to emerging advancements in minimally invasive spine surgery to the surgeons in delta region held at Thanjavur.The event, featuring instructional lectures, surgical demonstrations and hands-on training for orthopaedic surgeons covered the fundamentals, principles, indications, and instrumentation of uniportal and biportal endoscopic spine surgery, along with step-by-step procedural demonstrations. Participants had the opportunity to observe surgical demonstrations of uniportal and biportal lumbar discectomy and gain hands-on experience using the realists advanced endo surgical simulator, according to an official release from Meenakshi Hospital, Thanjavur.
