Actor Zoya Hussain has praised Aneet Padda, who shot to fame following the success of Saiyaara. In an exclusive conversation with India Today, Zoya, who has known Aneet for years, spoke about her journey in the industry and why she believes the young actor has what it takes to become one of the leading stars of her generation.Zoya, who worked with Aneet on the series Hunkkaar and Big Girls Don't Cry, spoke about how happy she was to see someone she had known for so long receive such recognition.“Honestly, Aneet is a great kid.

I've known her for a long time. We worked together on Big Girls Don't Cry, which Nitya and Karan did, right before Hunkkaar.

I've seen her since she was a kid, and you genuinely feel happy when someone you've known for so long, especially an outsider who has been working for a while, gets this kind of recognition,” she said. She added, “It's not like this was her first or second project. She's been working for a while.

I think she's incredibly talented and just a great girl. So when somebody like that makes it, everybody collectively feels happy and hopes they continue to grow.” When asked whether Aneet has the potential to become one of the most prominent actors of her generation, Zoya said, “When you go out with her, you realise how much people love her.

It's amazing. For us, she is still baby Aneet; I don't think even we realise that.

I think she has everything. I hope she just continues to grow and grow.

She's got what it takes.”During the conversation, Zoya was also asked whether actors in Bollywood often need a blockbuster to get noticed, despite having worked in the industry for years.'Helps to have one big hit' Agreeing with the observation, she said, “I do think you need to have a big hit for people to recognise your work. It definitely helps to have one big hit as opposed to working for many, many years.

Of course, you may get recognition eventually, but it makes life easier if you have a big hit and people notice you.”Aneet became a household name following the success of Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, in which she starred opposite Ahaan Panday. While the film brought her widespread recognition, she had previously appeared in projects including Big Girls Don't Cry.Zoya, meanwhile, was recently seen in Hunkkaar.- Ends
