At the Festival of Ideas in New Delhi, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal cited Bollywood’s global appeal while arguing that Indian talent is itself a powerful brand.He said a Deputy Prime Minister from “one of the most powerful countries in the world” had been pursuing him because the leader’s daughter wants to work with Bollywood. Goyal made the remark while responding to a question on why India has fewer globally recognised corporate brands than the West or China.
